The Linnaeus Correspondence Project was housed at the Center for the History of Science from 2013 to 2018, and at Uppsala University’s winter graduation ceremony in January 2026, the project’s research editor, Eva Nyström, was appointed an honorary doctor of medicine for her long-term work on this important correspondence. The following week, attention was paid to another long-standing project to have Linnaeus Fauna Svecia translated into English, which the correspondence project’s other main contributor, the Latinist Ann-Mari Jönsson, had edited together with Ingemar Struwe.
