New book about the Nobel family in Russia by Bengt Jangfeldt

At the end of the 19th century, the Nobel name was not just a question about Alfred and the Prize he bequeathed. Here we get to read the fascinating story of several generations of the Nobel family and their activities in Russia.

On September 29, 2020, Bengt Jangfeldt’s book: Immanuel Nobel & Söner: Svenska snillen i tsarernas Ryssland [‘Immanuel Nobel & Söner: Swedish geniuses in Tsarist Russia’] will be published by the publisher Albert Bonnier. The project has been carried out in collaboration with the Center for Business History. The book gives a broad description of the different generations of Nobel and their activities in Russia until the revolution.

Bengt Jangfeldt has been associated with the Center for the History of Science since 2000 and has several award-winning biographies in his production.
