The Nobel Family

Bengt Jangfeldt’s book about the Nobel brothers has been translated into English and is being reviewed in the Financial Times. It can be found under “The best books of the week”. The book is published by Bloomsbury Academic.

The review reads: “Come the Bolshevik seizure of power, the Nobels lost all their Russian holdings, their Russian homes and their Russian past.
If that is the punchy historical story at the heart of this very readable tale — the translation is superb — it is the incidental details, so eloquently expounded by Swedish scholar and Russia expert Bengt Jangfeldt, that are riveting.”
